Amy grew up in the Deep South with a love for her mother's graphic design work, Matisse, Picasso, and origami. An accidental journalism major and a fine art minor at the University of Mississippi, she was a reporter for several years. After fleeing to Austin, Texas, she got back in touch with her artistic roots. Amy makes prints from linocuts, creates illustrations in pen and ink, and also designs digitally, often working from original photographs.
Her interests include political ridiculousness, farms and food, electricity, and other sustainability issues. And her bunny, Glenn. Because bunnies are awesome. She loves designing shirts for awesome local Austin businesses.
